My husband got me an Ipod Itouch for Christmas/Birthday. And I love it. I love listening to it while I get my chemo , walk with Paris and workout. Paris and I usually always announce to each other which song is on while we walk and can you believe that one time, we were listening to the very same song at the very same time? I think it was "Every Breath you Take" by Brooke White from American Idol.
I also love listening to it while I cook dinner. I put on my Ipod and sing away at the top of my lungs, much to my children's embarrassment. And I love adding songs to it. As my kids pointed out yesterday. Everytime we hear a song on the radio while we're driving, I usually say "I've got this on my Ipod!" and they come back with "you've got EVERYTHING on your Ipod!". As I started to think about this, it occured to me that I did the same thing in Reno, with my friend Shanna, and she called me on it too! She even coined that as one of my phrases in Reno..."I've got this on my Ipod" and "that's cute" (talking about hats and wigs as we tried them on).
One thing I've done with the songs is create playlists, one for each child, one for my husband and one for my memorial (just in case), full of songs that have deep meanings and messages and convey how I think/feel.
What do you have on your Ipods?

Wasn't that freaky when we had the same song at the same time??? What are the odds!! I have a separate playlist that is upbeat for walking. Keeps me going. I need to spend more time making more playlists... that is a good idea to make one for each family member.
See you after the dentist tomorrow!! Hoping we don't get rained on :( Maybe we will just have to sit in "your office" at Starbucks and read and sip something warm instead!!
Oh... I finished my foodie book and started "The Last Lecture"!!! So touching!
Love,

Hmmmmm.....what do I have on my iPod? Nothing! I don't have an iPod! Can you believe that? I think I'm the only one who doesn't! Someday though! And soon!
I think I'm one of the few that doesn't own an Ipod. The kids have them, but I just haven't wanted one. I do check the kids though to make sure their music is decent. I could say they have some great taste.
Hi Shauna:
I also love my iPod. I have fast music for jogging or fast walking. Seems like I mostly have country music on it. And unfortunately, I also have one with memorial music.
Paris, I read "The Last Lecture" while on our cruise. It is the first time I have ever finished a book and reread it immediately. It was awesome. The second time I read it, I high lighted phrases that I really liked. If you haven't read it, Shauna, you should.
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.
Love, JO
Shauna-You are amazing. I've been reading your blog everyday and I just wanted to tell you I'm praying for you. I'm the neighbor that never brought your family food while you were in Reno - nice huh? I tried to bring it when your family was visiting you- that's my excuse! Thanks for all your thoughts - I'm sharing some of them with my MOMS group that is also praying for you as well. Take care Pam Knell (Scott Z's neighbor)

Thinking of you!
That was HILARIOUS!! I am reading your blog, get to the "I've got this on my iPod" line and think to myself, "Good lord, she said that the entire time we were in Reno!!!" lol Sure enough, the next comment you make is about me and teasing you. Funny, funny!!
The question now is why in the world did I just read your blog to my son?? He is walking through the house repeatedly saying, "that's cute". Ugh.
Thanks for bringing a huge smile to my face as I reminisce about our Reno adventures. I am so glad that you are enjoying music and singing! Singing has certainly been my salvation over this past 2 years, so open wide, girl!
